This is the worst company. They cut down a tree in my backyard and told me that they will come back with a bigger saw to finish the job. I call them numerous times but they never came back to finish the job. This company cannot be trusted. I do not recommend it to anyone.

If I could give a 0 to all of the above I would. I made an appointment for an estimate. When Kody did not show up for the appointment, I called him and was told that my phone number was not an area code he recognized. I explained I live in Iowa City and gave him my address for the estimate yesterday. He proceeded to tell me that I gave him the wrong address, before even asking what the address was. I explained (again) that I live in Iowa City, had made an appointment with HIM for an estimate, and he had not shown up. He then told me, "Lady, you don't know what you are talking about, it is not even the right time to trim hedges". Obviously I am not a lawn care expert, that is why I had made the appointment with him. I am a responsible adult who shows up for appointments when they are made. I will not be calling KS Tree Solutions for future work and do not recommend it to anyone.

They gave a outrageous bid and came down to a reasonable price so I hired themShowed up late damaged the yard and a sprinkler head . They promised to return and complete the job( I foolishly paid them) and never returned. Clean up was good but they did not finish removing a large stump saying they needed to get another saw. I have called them three times leaving messages with out ever receiving a return call. I can not recommend them under any circumstance.

Disappointed - mainly for the higher end price charged, for which I expected a more professional job. Kody talks a fine talk and seems well meaning but the reality was not as good as his promises. The team were very late and then acted like typical young guys - several tree limbs went flying as they shrieked with glee, and a couple of other trees were damaged. They did work hard but we now have brown gashes in the lawn, as well as truck tracks from the equipment, none of which they attempted to sort out - so the clean up really wasn't great compared to what we've known before. Also, the 'fire wood' they left is in enormous pieces. I'm glad our problem trees were taken care of but I won't be going to KS Tree for our next job.

Kody gave us an outrageously high estimate for 1 day's work (Kody's time estimate). I talked them down on the price somewhat. The crew of 3 arrived 3 hours later than the agreed-upon time and only after we called to prompt them. They did not complete all of the work that we discussed in the morning before they started the job. The work that they did do was a big job, and they cleaned up that part of the yard well. I did have to ask them to stack the wood; they were planning to leave it in a big random pile, and these were big pieces of wood.Then, unfortunately, they dug 3-6-inch ruts across our entire yard with their truck, blamed it on the lay of our land, and did nothing to try to remedy the damage. It will take us all season to repair these ruts. This was kind of a zero-sum game for us. What we got out of the deal was part of our yard cleared (and I'll admit it was a mess before they started) and a big pile of wood chips/mulch from all of the stuff they cleared. But now our lawn is a mess, and I think we probably overpaid for the actual amount of work that was done. Bottom line: we can't feel good about this deal.

This crew came through the neighborhood and did several jobs. While seeing them doing a neighbors job we asked for a quote. For a tree trim and an old tree removal.These were both very large old treesAfter getting what seemed to be a very reasonable quote another neighbor and I both agreed to have our trees trimmed up and a large one taken out of our yard.This group of young men were doing both houses at one time.Used extreme safety measures.And cut up all the firewood we asked for from the tree.They exceeded any and all expectations of professional work ethics, safety and the cleanup of everything was unbelievable.They even clean and blew the sidewalks off.If you need any lawn or tree service done call this group...You won't be disappointed.I will use them again....

We just had experienced an ice storm, a 4.4 ,earth quack, and Ks Tree Solutions, showed upped and asked if we wanted help with the massive tree clean-up. Well, needless to say, yes, but, Cody, and his crew stayed all day, for a very reasonable price. The Crew of guys are all very hard working, and very serious about their craft. I give a special 5 STAR to Nick, one of the Aerial Climbers.

Kody and his crew came by today and cleaned my whole yard, taking out trees that were blocking growth, trimming dead limbs, removing limbs growing over the house. They did an excellent job, cleaning up as they went, leaving the yard in excellent condition. I would definitely use them again!

I brought KS Tree Solutions back for the 2nd time this year and was extremely impressed again by the professional staff. I watched the crew work for 4+hours today and loved seeing how much pride they took in doing a first class job. For starters, Kody did an excellent overview to all of his co-workers on the job at hand. I know very little about trees and I appreciated his expertise on what trees should be taken out. I orginally told him that I wanted an Oak tree taken down and he convinced me that his team could trim it and make it come back to life. I'm very happy I went with his advice. Secondly, his team climbing the trees never cut any corners. I spent a lot of time talking to each of the climbers and they take pride in doing a first-class job. In addition, Kody insured me that his team would do a 5 star clean up and I was blown away by how much debris they took away from the site. Honestly, the site looked better than the it did before. I highly recomment RS Tree Solutions to anyone who is considering taking down trees or trimming them. I'm a very happy customer.

KS Tree Solutions came soliciting business after a big wind storm came through Plymouth, MN. We had 6 trees down. We were told they would clear the area and REMOVE the debris. A price was agreed upon. A younger guy, I belive named Kody, offered to pad the invoice for insurance and then asked for a tip for doing so. They cleared the area where the trees had fallen and stacked all the debris curbside saying they would be back in 2 or 3 days when they had more equipment up here. It is now 4 days later and they have not been back. When I call both numbers I could find for them the voice mail box is full. Needless to say, they did cash my check.

A friend recommended KS Tree Solutions because they did an excellent job at his property. I called them, told them what we needed and setup an appointment for the next day. After an hour of waiting for them I called their number and the person told me that they could not do the job because we were out of their driving area. I can appreciate that, but they should have not set up an appointment with us in the first place or once they realized that they were not going to make it, they should have called back and cancelled the appointment.

I met these guys last year when they were working at a neighbor’s house. The neighbor was very pleased so I contacted them this year when I needed to remove several large trees. Kody came right over and gave us an estimate. The next day the crew showed up and did the job exactly as promised. The guys did a great job and cleaned everything up. I’ll be using them again.

They came to give an estimate and ended up staying most of the day removing multiple, large trees in some tight spots. Gus is excellent at what he does. The whole crew was great, very pleasant, and VERY hardworking. They dropped the trees, shredded the brush, stacked the logs, and raked the areas...never would have known they were there. It is refreshing to see companies follow through on their word and do an EXCELLENT job. I would have them back in a minute when the need araises.

Recently hired this company to take down a large maple and to trim several large trees overhanging my drive. They also removed a tree for a neighbor, and trimmed and removed dead wood from several trees for another neighbor. All of this in 4 hours time: the tree cutting, branch removal and chipping, wood cutting and stacking,and finally the cleanup. A very Impressive job at a reasonable price. Kody Stiller, the owner, ensures that the work is done properly and quickly. I should also mention that Gus Stiller, the "man in the tree", must be one of the best in this business. With a limited space in which to drop this tree, time after time he dropped the wood exactly where he wanted to it to be. Quite a feat!! I would highly recommend this company, and I will use them again if the need arises.

I had a very demanding job, and it was done surpassing my expectations. They stacked the firewood for me, and left the yard in great shape. Job done well and at a great price.

They did a great job for a great price. They took down three huge dead trees and trimmed back branches near and over the house. Impeccable cleanup. We would definitely call them back.
