I hired Debra of Keep it Simple to help me de-clutter.

I had closed a business 8 years prior and still had mounds of stuff from it in storage.

What made it worse, was that these items were mixed with personal memorabilia and had to be gone through piece by piece.

Just thinking of doing this daunting task was absolutely overwhelming.

Debra and I methodically and patiently went through all the boxes.

Debra was very respectful of my things and helped me through the emotion of parting with many items I thought I couldn’t.

She showed me that the option of “throwing it all out” was not the only way to de-clutter.

We listed large items on Craig’s List and donated boxes and boxes of smaller stuff to schools and other donation centers.

I feel good knowing that things that were not useful to me anymore could and would be enjoyed by someone else who needed them.

Debra’s gentle and practical approach made it a very comfortable transition into my new clutter-free world.

Getting rid of clutter has inspired me to repaint and redecorate a few rooms in my house. This was not something I had the energy or inclination to do before the de-cluttering process!

I gave my husband a gift certificate for Keep It Simple for his home office. After seven years I realized I could not help him get his office de-clutterd. Ms. Robinson came in for an entire day and when I returned home, I was stunned! She was able to help him purge unneeded paperwork and clutter, simplify his filing system and reorganize the furniture for more efficiency and space! When I walked into the office I thought I was in the wrong house, it felt fantastic to see all the clutter finally gone, what a relief. Six weeks later I can still walk in his office and be thrilled!
