You just don't find them like this anymore. I found this honest straight-forward guy almost 20yrs.ago, and always took my cars to him when he specialized in electrical (still does, but now with Benny he does it all, thankfully). I took every kind of car there, import (Rx7), Chevy pickups, Camaro, Mustang GT (a 1986 GT in 1989 and a 2005 GT a few months ago),... avoiding the Dealerships' bank robbery. I have owned every kind of car and truck, and used to work on my own when I was younger and had more time, so I generally know what the car needs or what the problem is before I take it in. I moved out of the area for 10yrs, but I returned to Plano and, with 3 teenagers, still have a lot of cars (older and newer)..and no time to work on them myself. Ken never messes with you. Look, if your car has problems he is not going to wave a magic wand or charge you 1/2 the going labor rate. But he will tell you what it is, fix it for a vary fair price, and stand behind the work. What else can you ask for? If he finds something, he will call you to discuss it and does not add repairs to surprise you with the final bill. He will also help you evaluate it, do you really need it? do you want it? will you eventually need it? is it worth it? I will refer everyone to Ken's in Plano.
