Kim's Kids In-Home Child Care

Provided by YPmobileDo NOT bring your kids here. Every time my daughter went to Kims she would come home upset and not herself. At first I thought she just needed time to adjust, but it just got progressively worse. What started as coming home a little upset quickly turned into coming home with formula in her hair and neck, scratches on her hands and legs (clearly not from a child's nails, but from the dog that she fails to mention to anyone and hides in the garage) and visibly red eyes from crying all day. She also started refusing to eat or nap at Kims because she was that neglected there. The last day my daughter went she ate one bottle all day and had scratches for the second time at which point I said enough is enough and pulled her out due to safety concerns.
As a parent I expected to be given a heads up if multiple kids were sick at her daycare, yet Kim failed to let me know when this actually happened. When I questioned her about this her excuse was that it's normal for kids to get sick at daycare. I'm aware children get colds from daycare, but thought it would be common courtesy to atleast warn parents if something was going around. Kim also didn't feel it was important enough to tell me that my daughter had been crying and fussy the entire time under her care until the last week I took her there. It breaks my heart to think that my little girl was upset and crying there everyday and Kim didn't even have the decency to let me know. If she truly cared about the kids she watches, as she insists again and again, I would think she would let parents know if their child is struggling in her care.
All Kim does seem to care about is cramming in as many children as possible while staying under the six child limit which would require her home to inspected as a childcare facility, which she clearly would not pass.
Since pulling my child from Kims care she has started at an established daycare and since day one has done fantastic there. She eats and naps normally, is smiling and happy when I pick her up, and is clearly not being subjected to the atrocious conditions that Kim passes off as a in home childcare facility.
To top it all off, Kim is refusing to return my daughters belongings since I did not give her notice that my daughter would not be coming anymore. All she can do is repeat again and again that "it is in her contract" that I will give notice if my daughter is not going to be coming. I refuse to give notice and continue sending my daughter somewhere that she is not safe, so feel she does not need notice or the weeks pay she thinks that she is entitled too. Not to mention the contract she keeps referring to is void anyways since the terms of it changed and it was never re signed.
PLEASE for the safety of your children find somewhere else to take your kids.
