Provided by YP.comI grew up in Kohler, and had family who toiled there for many years in various departments, but here's my take on their product line--the quality has gone so far downhill, that I'd be afraid to install any of their products in my house. Example: a special-order toilet (non-standard setback) has such a crooked bowl that I come close to getting dizzy looking at it. Right side top line has a 1/2" slant, left side is vertical. When I called their customer service number, some sweet young thing (no doubt reading off of her computer monitor) rattled off the company line that "every effort is made to ensure all customers receive a quality product, with minor variations reflecting the dedicated handwork that goes into building each product." Yes, lady, but the thing is crooked, I answered. She answers with "Are you sure you're looking at it from the right angle?" End of story. Give me Toto or American Standard anyday.

Provided by YP.comKohler is a very good product. Know that you get what you pay for. American Standard is the cheapest brand and doesn't hold as near as good as Kohler. People who want to have upgrades in their house (opposed to buying a new home right now) want one of the best products. Amer. Standard is not in that category, believe me.

Provided by YP.comKohler products are very overpriced. You can buy American Standard products that are priced cheaper and of better quality. I would do my homework before buying anything Kohler. You will find that American Standard will allways come out on top.
