Lake Mills Cleaners and Dyers in Lake Mills, Wis., has provided southern Wisconsin with dry-cleaning, laundry and shirt service for more than 60 years. Its services include dry cleaning, shirt service and laundry, wedding gown cleaning and preservation, tailoring and alterations, leathers and suedes, furs, rugs, draperies, table cloths, burn repairs, unique spot removal, preservation of some fire damaged clothing, and free pick up and delivery. Casey Tarnutzer was in the dairy business and saw an opportunity to build a family future in the dry cleaning business. In 1951 his son joined him the business, and it soon expanded far beyond the shores of Rock Lake. The business grew to service most of the southern Wisconsin area and has approximately 30 locations that are serviced twice a week.
