If I were you, I would look somewhere else. Lampe rebuilt a transmission for me and said he would guarantee it for 12 months or 12000 miles. Well he did it last summer and he had it almost 2 months before he finally finished it and everytime I asked about it being done, there was always an excuse. Now we have had it back and have had nothing but trouble with it. He doesn't want to fix it so he keeps giving me pointers to fix it. If I was a mechanic, I wouldn't have called him!!! Also he was pretty eager to get the first half of his money or wouldn't do the job and when he showed up to collect he wanted more than half but didn't give it to him. He has stopped texting me back or returning phone calls. I would suggest looking somewhere else if you don't want to have to take him to court.
