Established in 1982, Levi Milton Elementary School serves more than 600 students in grades kindergarten through five and is located in Walker, La. It offers introductory Spanish language classes for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school provides a voluntary accelerated reader program in its library for students in grades three through five. In addition, it offers a range of special services, such as counseling, special education and nursing. The school has a team of more than 40 teachers and over 15 paraprofessionals. It is a part of the Livingston Parish Public School System, which serves more than 22,000 students in prekindergarten through grade 12 and offers a range of instructional programs and other related services.
