If there was a spot for no stars, I would have put it. STAY AWAY from this appraiser. If your bank uses this vendor......get a new bank for a Mortgage. Firstly, the appraiser was not friendly at all. Not that I really cared about that, but it gave me an initial impression that he was not going to be fair with his appraisal. I new from the start, just from his attitude, that my appraisal would not be satisfactory. I had an appraisal for my home a month before from another company through a mortage broker (bank). I felt I was being taken advantage of from this mortgage company especial with closing cost fees. Anyway, I decided to go with another mortgage company. Unfortunately for me, I had to pay for another appraisal. This time, I had Mack Appraisals & R.E. Services, Inc. And I just had this instinctive feeling that this guy was not going to be fair. Do you know that there was a over a $50,000 difference between my two appraisals that were less than a month apart? Thats almost a 12% difference. Way off the mark. I won't get into the details of the appraisal, but obviously with a percentage difference as great as this, I'd say WAY AWAY from this guy. I'm not the one to write reviews either. However, I was just so appalled by this appraisal I just had to speak my mind.



I should have cancelled the minute I had this feeling about this guy. I just hope I'm still able to refinance with the same rate.
