Mack Trucks Macungie Division is the assembly operations of Mack Trucks. A subsidiary of Sweden-based Volvo Group and located in Allentown, Pa., Mack Trucks produces and markets trucks for use in a variety of industries. Its products include vehicles designed for construction, highway and refuse work. Founded in 1900, Mack Trucks has been owned by Volvo since 2001. The Macungie plant, opened in 1975, produces the Mack Granite, RD, RB, CL, LE, DM and MR models, including the construction and refuse series. Tours are available at Mack Trucks Macungie Division. All of the Mack Trucks manufacturing and development locations are certified under ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management.
