Exemplary in every sense of the word

I couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. I was about to sign a contract to install a new air conditioner unit with another company and decided to entertain one more quote. Magic Touch was recommended by someone whose judgement I really trust so I had them come out. What a difference from the others. The attention to detail, delivery, and results are nothing short of outstanding. I recommend anyone in the Mesa area needing to replace their air conditioner and heater units get a quote from them. The icing on the cake; I got a better price from them then the one I was going to go with.

It's rare to find a company that still understands that without treating your customers right you will not stay in business. This company clearly gets it. Great delivery from my initial phone call to the service and even sent a thank you card which was a nice touch. 10 on a scale of 1 to 10

Worst customer service ever. T...

Worst customer service ever. The installed new rooftop unit, denting unit up and breaking the seals on it when placing it. now I have leaks from unit itself as well as water pouring onto roof. They also did not insulate the drop/roof jack so the condensation build up is causing water damage to house. I called them to come fix the initial problem of it cooling one side of house to 60 some degrees and the other side to 80 degrees. they told me it was my problem and if I wanted them to fix the problem that they created I would have to pay more . Feels like extortion, as they had to know the work was going to cause this issue. Their site says they do energy audits and duct sealing for better efficency yet when I had inspectors come look there were leaks no seals and water damage. The ductwork was thrown in and not properly distributed using drop boxes . They also insisted on a second return which was place within 5 feet or the original the needed a 20x30 opening for this return but when you open and look in the duct is compressed to half that size. They do not have a clue on what they are doing. some of the list is



ROOFTOP UNIT: AIR LEAKS AROUND ALL PANELS. LIQUID TIGHT AND ELECTRICAL WIRES ARE NOT REPLACED. CONDENSATE



LINE IS NOT CLAMPED AND SECURED.



DUCTWORK IN ATTIC: METAL JOINTS (T Y'S) ARE NOT INSULATED CAUSING CONDENSATION. (THIS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO



FLEX DUCT AND POSSIBLY DRY WALL. JOINTS ARE INSTALLED IMPROPER AND POSITIONED SO THAT SOME REGISTERS



RECEIVE MUCH MORE AIR THAN OTHERS. DUCT WORK TO KITCHEN/DINING ROOM HAS BEEN IMPROPERLY INSTALLED TO NOT



ALLOW ENOUGH AIR TO FLOW IN THERE DIRECTION. ALL ATTIC DUCT WORK WILL NEED TO BE DISCONNECTED AND INSTALLED



PROPERLY. RETURN AIR VENT SHOULD BE ADDED TO DINING ROOM AREA.



THERMOSTAT: NOT POSITIONED PROPERLY AND HAS A HOLE BEHIND IT CAUSING ATTIC AIR TO ALTER TEMPERATURE

Deserve more stars!

I have a 26 year old heat pump and although I know I could save money on my power bills if I bought a new one, it's not in the budget at this time. The company I had been calling for service told me they could no longer find the repair parts I needed and left me with no working air.My sister used Magic touch recently to repair the air in her casita and was very satisfied with the company so I gave them a try expecting the same answers from them but hoping.The man spent an hour calling people on his phone trying to find the part I needed (a receiver) and didn't give up. Not only did he find the part, he went to pick it up and returned two hours later to put it in.I would give them 25 stars if I could and they are now MY company.

Everyone is super nice & professional!

If you've needed home services before chances are you've met the either pushy salesman type, the sloppy guy that seems inept, or the rude receptionist. Everyone at Magic Touch was obviously good at what they did and they are clearly a well polished machine. Prompt and courteous receptionist, neat, well spoken technician who assesed the problem quickly and had the part needed. And no extra "want a 10 year agreement with us nonsense" Super job Magic Touch Air Conditioning!

The company to trust

Our heat stopped working and we have an infant so needed it fixed right away. We called a company that put in a new heater across the street from us two weeks ago thinking they were familiar with our type of heat and cooling. They told us it didn't make sense to repair it because it needed about $2000 worth of repairs and we could buy a new one for about $6000. My husband thought it was a good idea to get a second opinion and if the second company agreed to get a cost for a new heater from them too. Good thing we did! When Magic Touch looked at it they said we can fix it for $312. I don't know if the first company was trying to take advantage of us or if Magic Touch is just better at what they do but we now have heat and it cost us $312 not $2000 and not $6000. Magic Touch is the company to trust.

Great service

My husband and I were quite impressed with the professionalism of the young man who repaired our furnace. I was particularly impressed with the way they determine what's wrong and how much it will cost before making any repairs. In our case, the problem was a part called a capasitor and the total bill was $138.41. Our heat is once again working and we both agree we will use Magictouch going forward. B.L.

This compnay installed a compressor on my unit in feb 2010. Recently we have had a problem with our heat not heating our house. I called them and they sent out a tech who told us we more than likely had a leak. He suggested that we start a leak search, and expained that this would run about $300 to start and they may have to perform various steps which of course cost $ to perform each step of the search which is no guaranty that they will even find the leak. I had someone else come out to inspect my unit which has a heat pump. The problem was in my thermostat which had a control on it for the heat pump. We have had no further issues with the unit. I wonder if I even needed a compressor last year. This company is totaly dishonest. This tech they sent out was supposed to have the highest level of certification, and the receptionist I spoke to told me that if he said we had a leak, than that is what we have. No why for him to be wrong...What a joke. This company is DISHONEST!!!!!

Horrible Experience! No Magic in Magic Touch

Don't believe all the buzz about how customer service centric they are (100% Customer Satisfaction they extend). There is no Magic in Magic Touch. We have had them work on two different units at our business within 7 days with over $600 spent thus far and each initial visit was requiring a second visit to repair the same problem we had been charged for the first time. When attempting to voice concerns to their Customer Service manager, Brandon, we would only receive voice mails during our closed hours and when returning calls to voice our concerns he was unavailable even when we voiced how important it was he or someone contact us immediately since we were operating over 85 degrees for the last week at the time--now 12 days as of 7/14/10. We'd give no stars but one was the minimum.

Tom fixed what other company couldn't. I was told by a different company that the air conditioner could not be fixed and I should just buy a new one. My neighbor suggested I call Magic to get another opinion and that they could be trusted. The alternative was spend thousands on a new air conditioner so I figured I would take the gamble since I cant afford that right now anyway. They sent a technician named Tom who not only said the air conditioner COULD be repaired but he could get the parts needed that day and return to fix it. He did suggest I consider replacing it also since it is almost twenty years old and not in the best shape but was not pushy about it. Since I just went back to work after almost five months of being unemployed, replacing it is not an option for me at this point. So I spent $344 and it's working good again. I just need to make it through this summer and hopefully will be able to replace it next year. I will call Magic to do it and I will ask for Tom.

Magic Touch Mechanical = NO MAGIC!

As to purchasing a new AC/Gaspac unit, fast service and fast install,

As for service; service call was quick, however the unit required a new blower motor which they did not stock and had to order

2nd failure in a 2 year old unit

As to servicing what they sell;

POOR performance in obtaining parts and LENGHTH of Tme required for the repair

They Failed miserably at acquiring the necessary parts in a timely fashion and did not go out of their way in expediting a fast shipment

I have been without Heat or AC for 23 days. I would never again purchase a unit from

I used this company to repair my heat pump. They were highly recomended by SRP. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the tech they sent out. I felt like they were honest and the prices were fair. I will call them again and would gladly recommend them to anyone needing heat pump service.

I KNOW THE OWNER RICH PERSONALLY AND HAVE BEEN USING HIS SERVICES FOR OUR FAMILY RESTAURANT FOR TEN YEARS. HIS PEOPLE ARE OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER AND KNOW REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT IN AND OUT. I TRUST THEM AND ONLY THEM TO SERVICE OUR WALK IN FREEZER, ICE MACHINES, AIR CONDITIONERS, EVERYTHING. LAST FRIDAY HE HAD HIS CREW INSTALL A NEW UNIT IN MY HOUSE (I WASN'T HOME). I WOULDN'T HAVE EVEN KNOWN THEY WERE THERE IF MY HOUSE WASN'T AN ICEBOX WHEN I GOT HOME! MY TEENAGE SON HAD THE THERMOSTAT SET TO 72 (ANYONE NEED AN EXTRA TEENAGER)!
