When I called this company the phone was answered by a man whom I assume is the owner. He was hostile and rude from the moment he picked up. I told him my name and why I was calling and he refused to deal with me, since I am the renter not the owner. Mainley Monitors was referred to me by my cousin, and my landlord instructed me to call and set up an appointment, which I conveyed to the man. He said that he didn't know me or my landlord and since neither of us had an account established with him he did not know if we would pay him. I thought that was a strange way to start a business conversation, and asked him why he was talking to me in such a manner. He told me he was going to hang up on me if I did not change my attitude so I hung up on him! Later I had a male friend call him to see if he would be nicer to a man, and he treated my friend even worse, saying that he had already talked to his girlfriend (meaning me), and wasn't going to work on the heater because he didn't know the landlord and even if he did, he still wouldn't help us. This man is a JERK and does NOT deserve your business! He was given an opportunity to make a new customer and made no effort to gain my business. With an attitude like the one he presented us, this man gets zero stars for customer service. I don't know about his rates or quality of his work or his work ethics, but I do know that my friend and I felt very upset just trying to talk to this man.
