Matt Matt is a full-time professional photographer, located in Albany, NY. While best known for his creative wedding work, Matt & his team also shoot a variety of other projects such as aerial photography, maternity & baby sessions, family portraits, as well as corporate & commercial work. While Matt takes great pride in providing high quality work & creating a superior client experience, what sets him apart from many are his passion, outgoing nature & charismatic personality. Matt’s work, style, creativity and overall reputation have made him one of the top and most sought after photographers in Upstate NY & the surrounding areas. Matt has been published in various magazines, wedding blogs & websites, most recently shooting the 2013 cover of WellWed Magazine, and winning 2013 “Best of the Knot” for the 3rd time as well as the 2013 “Bride’s Choice Awards,” through Wedding Wire. History Born on a military base in Germany, Matt grew up a semi – “military brat,” which afforded him the ability to become a young world traveler. By the age of 20, Matt had visited a total of 17 countries between Europe and Asia, and had lived in Germany, Italy, Japan, and England in addition to the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Matt moved to New York State in 1997, and has resided in the Capital Region since. These travel experiences early on, are what ultimately sparked Matt’s first passion in photography, and would later become a full-time business and dream come true. Matt holds extensive experience in business, marketing and computer technology, which is often used to offer cutting edge options & services for his clients. Experience Matt holds nearly 20 years photography experience, with both film and digital equipment. Matt and his team shoot 60+ weddings per year, along with various other commercial projects, events, family portraits, etc. While Matt often books events a year or more in advance, he is excited to meet & build new client relationships each week. Matt Ramos Photography has been in business for 10 years. Style Clients can expect to see a wide variety of images, involving multiple styles of photography (classic black & whites, candids, family portraits, details, photojournalism, etc., however creating compelling & creative images is what motivates him most, and what each client should also expect to see in their wedding images.
