My daughter rented a climate controlled unit less than one month ago. She returned today, found out that the special padlock, sold by this company, had not kept robbers from breaking into her unit. What a heartbreaking thing to happen. How can this happen?? Now she has to find a trustworthy place to rent, in a hurry, Sat. night. Does this place have security cameras? I wish I had read the second review before helping my daughter find this place. Of course she and I would never refer anyone to rent a unit from this place. How many robberies have occurred here? Worth a trip to the police station. A shame I cannot give a minus star for rating.

I have had a unit rented with this facility for nearly 2 years. They have been great with working with me in times of hardship and have been wonderfully helpful. Mandy is wonderful to work with. My unit is at the Buna location, the Manager they had previously wasn't that great, but the Manager they have in place there now is awesome and so helpful. My only advice for future unit renters is to use the best locks you can get. There are a lot of unscrupulous people in they areas of these units and they will try to brake in to your unit. There is only so much the facility can do, it is up to you to go that extra step to ensure your belongings are the safest they can be.

I must say at first I thought these were friendly, genuine folks. One gets that feeling from the ladies in the office. However, once I met "The Owner", as he refers to himself, I was surprised at his self-absorbed attitude & treatment toward a prospective customer. In asking folks around the area if they've ever heard of this facility, I was told repeatedly "Don't go there", "Not honest", "Not reliable", and much stronger warnings and comments - from folks I had never even met before asking around. (glad I did ask around!) It seems Mr. McDonald's reputation is very well known, but not trusted or respected. I will not do business with someone who is as arrogant and rude as Mr. McDonald was to me, especially now that I know the reputation of his Highness, Mr. McDonald, and his method of doing business. He lost a solid sale because of his enormous ego.
