I called McGrath because the blower motor on my furnace wasn't working. I told them this on the phone. They sent a guy out and he told me that my blower was broken and it needed a motor and cleaned. I paid him $70 for mostly nothing. He said they would call me back with a total for parts. After 5 days of no call back, I called. No answer. Mind you it's winter, I have a 2 year old and no heat. After I left a very dissatisfied voice mail they finally called me back. At this point I had already decided they would not be getting more of my money. Two weeks later, I just received a letter with my quote on it and a snide post it saying I don't answer my phone. After 5 days of no call back I no longer want your service! The total for a simple repair was equal to the price for a whole new furnace! I should have listened when my family told me to call the other guy in North Judson. We removed the blower from the furnace ourselves and ordered the parts on Amazon for 1/8th the price!
