my truck broke down on the highway shortly after I left the TA in Terrell, Tx.--after walking back to the TA and asking who I could call to come get my truck I was given a card for McIntyre Wreckers in Mesquite (about 15 miles further down the road. Talked to'em, made arrangements for a wrecker and sat back expecting to wait half a day before I heard anything more. Wrong. Thirty minutes later I was paged by the people at the desk. The wrecker was there---we went back to the truck, got it hooked and off to the shop we went. McIntyre has their own full service shop. Mechanics looked at it immediately since I was under a load---whats better, they had it back up and running in about two hours and I was ready to be on my way again. Yeah I could have done without breaking down on the side of the road, but I did find a shop that was ready and willing to figure out what the problem was and fix it. The prices they charged were much better than what I would have paid at the Kenworth house - and they got a customer for life.
