In new construction we can install a foam "Envelope" that will drop your Air Change per Hour (ACH) by up to 60%. This means that you would only fill your home with conditioned air 3 times a day as opposed to 17 times a day with conventional insulation. This can equate up to a 50% reduction in total energy consumption for your home! Existing homes can also benefit. By sealing off the attic space you can reduce total energy consumption up to 20%. That can also be increased by sealing the rim joist in the basement and the crawl space/basement ceiling. This application is not only for residential structures.
