Jose M. Vasquez, Owner and Professional Inspector, has extensive experience in construction, home remodeling and repairs, and structural and mechanical systems. Prior to becoming a Home Inspector, Jose built his knowledge base on over 15 years in the home building industry. Starting with technical training in the electrical and framing fields, Jose worked his way up the ladder ( literally! ) in the construction business, learning the ins and outs of how a home is put together. Jose then served for 7 years as Project Foreman and Supervisor/Superintendent, overseeing the construction of new homes, condos, and multi-family residencies. After running his own remodeling/renovation company for several years Jose decided to put his knowledge and experience to good use in assisting home buyers. He has built his inspection business on strong values and respect, relying on word of mouth and happy clients! Mi Casa Home Inspections is now regarded as one of the leaders in the Austin market, providing top-level quality at competitive prices. Jose believes strongly in giving back to the community and empowering home buyers through education. He serves as a group educator for Frameworks Community Development, and volunteers regularly with Habitat for Humanity. When not inspecting homes and buildings, Jose enjoys remodeling his own home, spending time outdoors with his wife and family -especially being Papi to his little girl.
