My daughter's car was towed by Midwest Towing against their own company policies. Their policy states that only a property owner can authorize a tow. My daughter's car was towed on November 22, 2016 at 7:15pm. The property owner did not call or sign for this tow. According to the Lincoln police department, any tow that directly fails to meet the company policy is considered an illegal tow. This company allowed a jealous ex-boyfriend to tow a car out of revenge. When I placed a call to the company to address this issue on November 23, 2016, I spoke with an employee who verified that the person who authorized the tow was indeed not the property owner. This call was heard by several witnesses as it was on speaker phone. The following day, November 24, 2016, I reached out to the business owner, Jeff, who has never once tried to solve the issue and offer me a refund. He has however lied on many occasions to try to cover his company's mistake. Jeff has refused to refund the cost of this illegal tow and has caused me to file a claim against him and his business with the Lancaster County Court to recover the money I paid for this illegal, against company policy tow. The person who called for the tow and authorized the tow and signed for the tow (not the property owner) is now said to be working for Midwest Towing.

Called Midwest Towing when my car slid off the road in a storm. They told me it would be about 45 minutes before they got there. It was actually 48 minutes exactly. They pulled my car out and then after looking it over for me, the driver said he didn't think it would be driveable as the wheels pointed different directions. They towed it to the shop for me and gave me a ride. REALLY NICE! They probably weren't the cheapest in town but atleast I felt like I got value for my money. Bottom line they did a great job for the price and from my past experiences with towing companies you sometimes get what you pay for. I will definitely call them again.
