The customer service this company has is outstanding! We called in regards to our house being invaded by ants the women in the office were very compassionte and very informative on things I could do to prepare for my appointment with their Certified Technician. On the day of our appointment the technician called prior to coming to our home just to let me know he was coming, and upon arrival he was very courtesy, clean cut, and walked around my house with me to go over all my concerns, and truly listened to me. Finally, when he had completed my house he walked me around again to tell and show me exactly what he had done and why, and things that we could do to help prevent future invades. It was wonderful to know all this so I was able to relay it all to my husband, We highly recommend this company and refer them to all our friends and family.

I have for the past 10 years living in my home had the continual battle with ants EVERY spring! And every spring I can count on Everett Milberger Pest Control to exterminate my ant problem. They don't only put chemical down but offer suggestions on how to cut back on vegetation around the foundation of my home that continually harbors ants and other pests. I couldn't be more pleased!

We have been using Millberger for two years for our pest control needs with nothing but rave reviews. In fact, we have been so pleased with their service, my husband and I who help run a service related industry along with my sister and brother-in-law, started recommending them to our customers as we are often asked if we know of anyone good. For two years we have been more than pleased with their service. That is until now. This year we had them out for our annual "ant control" services and my sister had them out for their bug problems...on the same day in fact. The service call went great as the technician was really friendly and professional. However, this year my ants and my sisterâs bugs did not go away like they have in the past. But since Millberger has always done great work for us I rationalized it as âwell, whatever they use is drawing the ants out so it will bait them and send them back to the nest to kill the queenâ. It seemed logical. But two weeks later, the problem is still just as bad. So I called Millberger last week to schedule another appointment and explained their services had failed this year. Much to my surprise, they offered no apologies or empathy and told me this would cost me a $40 trip charge to come out and take a look. I explained that this wasnât my fault and that the trip charge was unfair. She refused to help. I figured I was dealing with a receptionist with poor customer service skills and asked to speak to a manager. The manager was unavailable at that time and was told they would call me back. The next three days we played phone tag. Finally, this morning my husband returned the call and talked to the manager who later stated she was the owner of Millberger. She, like the receptionist, could have cared less that we weren't satisfied with their service this year. We explained that if they had done a great job on our initial request and if we were calling on based on the discovery of a new problem, then the trip charge would be more than fair. But this was the same problem in the same area as our initial service call and therefore we feel the job was not done right. The lady indicated that there was still nothing that could be done that the trip charge is what it is and non negotiable. We're in a service related industry too...we know about trip charges!!! However, if we do something wrong, itâs our responsibility to correct it right away. If we had a customer call in and say that one of our techs didn't do his job right or the result was less than favorable, we would dispatch another technician on a return visit and NEVER charge a trip charge! Itâs the way weâve done business for years. Itâs just good business sense. I don't know what happened to this company that I once raved about. I don't know if it sold or what. But their customer service (in the office) is poor and their business principles unethical. At the end of the day, yes I am upset that they aren't people of integrity and we didnât get the service we paid for, but I more disheartened by the fact that I have recommended these guys to our own customers. I refuse to recommend any company that does not treat their customers with the same level of professionalism and integrity that our business provides to the community. Today, Millberger didn't just loose a great customer in us, they lost the 100+ recommendations we make each year to our customer base...not to mention this review that I hope reaches others. If they argue that their service was more than sufficient and they didnât do anything wrong, thatâs their prerogative. What I can assure you is that in debate over whether or not their service was sufficient or not, their response was uncaring, unapologetic, lacked empathy, and haughty. At the very very least, itâs obvious that they don't have...
