This florist was my SAVIOUR in a huge time of need and I cannot thank them enough. I had ordered my wedding flowers from a local NYC florist. When I called 3 days prior to my wedding to make a small change in my bouquet, the florist had no record of my wedding. The NYC florist told me that they would be able to accomodate me, but they would have to make some alterations in my order because they didnt have the particular flowers I had originally ordered in stock and would not get them in time. I was in tears. My sister in law recommended Modern Florist in Brooklyn. I live in the city and thought it was a long shot, but decided to go with her recommendation. Not only was Modern Florist able to accomodate me last minute, but they delivered the product I wanted and it was more beautiful and more stunning than I could ever have dreamed of. The flowers stood out so much and were the talk of the evening. I thank you Modern Florist, Chris and staff and will always be greatful to all you!

I ordered three funeral pieces from Modern Florist and was very pleased. My flowers stood out from all the rest. They were fresh and very full not bare and wilted like some others that were there. Hopefully, next time I order it will be for a happier occasion.

I stopped in to order an arrangement for my girlfriend's birthday. I gave the owner, Chris, a general price range ($40-50) and he said he would have it ready the next day. The arrangment was beautiful, she loved it, and it far exceeded my expectations (vase, assortment of flowers, perfectly wrapped when I picked it up). This will be my go-to flower spot for the foreseeable future.

i do not recommend this place and don't even give it one star. they deliverd the wrong order and they delivered it after the dinner had taken place. then... they wanted ME to pay for them. when i refused they called the recipient!!!!! talk about a horrible experience... do not use modern florist!!!!!

I then used them again for my wifes birthday and couldn't believe how long my flowers lasted. So glad I finally listened to numerous recommendations from family and friends. This florist has been around for over 50 years and it shows!

Whenever I need to send an arrangement, Modern Florist always takes care of me! I've tried other florists in Brooklyn up until i found Modern Florist over 10 years ago and I've never been as happy with my orders as I am with them.
