Never EVER apply for a job here as a welder! NO weekends off. NO regard for your family. 80+ hours per week. POOR pay rates. Gives you vacation time - but NEVER approve you to use it. They will work you 12+ hours a day, 7 days a week, until you croak from exhaustion. Then, they'd dig up your grave, tie some strings around you, and work you some more.

The owners are DISGUSTINGLY snotty people. They will do ANYTHING to make their employees feel two inches tall. Their idea of a Christmas Party and bonus...

was to rent out the Moose lodge, and have an open bar. They gave the employees a whopping $50 Christmas bonus and a T-shirt that I would LOVE to BURN! Then, while the boat drivers are drinking their weight in free alcohol and slamming chairs into the wives' kneecaps - the pencil pushing big wigs are on their little pedastal whining about how they spend more time in the office than they do with their families at home. 8-4 five days a week must be freaking killer, huh? After they finish their pansy crybaby BS, then they proceed to brag about their new homes, with in-ground pools, and all of the fun they have.

As the night continues, and the scummy boat workers are even drunker....they proceed to have idiotic games, where the winners get cash. To even play, they have to draw your name. When there are 500 drunken FOOLS in this little bar - that goes over REALLY well! So, to pay the winner - the bald prick of a big wig pulls out a wad of cash that would make a gold-toothed rapper puke, and flashes it in front of the entire crowd. He dallies out a couple hundred...and then the loser of the game picks a fight in the parking lot with the winner. We didn't even feel safe walking to our vehicle after the party - and we were SOBER! Not to mention - BROKE because ironically enough - the only ones who got to play the games - were the alcoholic IDIOT boat workers. The welders - oh to hell with them!

Oh, yeah, they have a company softball team. Another reason that SELECT employees have a chance to get puke-face wasted and make even bigger turds of themselves. Oh - and if you aren't a big-wig - don't bother tipping the waitress at the restaurant $20. Because that pencil pushing prick is going to pull out his filthy wad of cash and tip her $200 just to make you feel a few feet shorter.
