I have over 25 years experiance moving. I have a 16 foot ryder moving truck w/ramp . hand dolly, appliance dolly, 4 wheel piano dolly. and pads. my rates are 25.00 dollars an hour with a 10 dollar trip charge. and there is a 2 hour minimum.(60.00) Or some people prefer to settle on 1 flat rate for the entire move, that way they know up front what they will spend for the whole move. I accomplish most moves for 100.00-200.00 dollars.( a basic flat rate would be 125.00 for a full truckload ).....Make your calls,Get your estimates....my rate will usually be 60-75% cheaper than the commercial movers out there! Believe me I worked for 2 of them here in columbus for over 20 years as an owner operator/contractor/packer. My rate is based on 1 man and the truck. I can move most of your belongings by myself or with my dolly...I would occasionally require your help with large items such as sofas, king size beds, and washers/dryers in the basement.
