Same story as everyone else here, except the one review they obviously wrote themselves. We gave them 50% down for a $4,000 fence job. They seemed genuine and professional. Took our down payment and our plans to pull a permit with the City of Dallas. They cashed our check and same thing - have not heard a word from them. We have actually driven to a couple of the addresses given to us only to find vacant land and a building in the process of being torn down in the second location. We have investigated them with the State of Texas and they are a legal entity until July 2009. We are going to collect our money from this company and would not even consider having them perform any work on our commercial property after reading these reviews. Definitely definitely save yourself the grief and stay away from these guys. It's the money AND the principal with this deal! Going after them in Dallas....

I recently had my new fence installed by Mr.Fence. The did a wonderful job and there crew was very professional. I will be hiring them this spring to do my sprinkler system.

I called Mr. Fence in April after bad storms. They gave me an estimate that I felt was fair. Here is it July and I still do not my fence repair. We have made several phone calls to them and they promise they will be out. We finally told them to forget it, we would find someone else

I recently was a victum of the tornadoes in Plano,My fence was damaged and I needed repairs which my insurance co provided some of the money,otherwise i could not afford to fix my fence. The city of Plano cited me about this time for "THE FENCE LEANING MORE THAN 12" OUT.I hired Mr Fence,"MIKE and his brother Daniel" to repair my fence,I gave him a check for $1500.00 back in May which he cashed, and he now won't return my phone calls and the city has given me a deadline to fix my fence.I will proceed to get my money's back but am affraid that I too have been scammed.Please don't let this happen to you, I should have waited to pay him this down payment upon delivery of materials first. they showed 3 hours late just for the estimate. one week later i called them back and i left a message that i wanted them to do the job, no call back that day, i called the next day at 3pm, left 2nd message, no call back. i called an addtional 2 times and left messages and no one has called me back, what a way to do bussiness if this is how they start i dont even want to think what it would have been like for them to do my job.

I urge no one to ever use this company! They have stolen $4500 on mine and have not responded back to none of my calls. I'm in the process of having to get an attorney. They have an UNSATISFACTORY record with the BBB. PLEASE do business with another fence company. They have been dishonest and I have no fence up yet. I'm thinking about taking this to the media also. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MR. FENCE (Mike McGuinness, owner)!!!!
