Provided by YP.comMy car broke down during a recent rain shower on I-10 heading into downtown. I was stranded and late for work. Mr. Murray himself handled my call and tow. He was very helpful and had an umbrella and a dry towel for me when he arrived. Within 10 min of his arrival my car was hooked to the tow truck and we were on the road. He even offered to drop me off at work and take care of the receiving details at the dealership that I purchased my car from. Within an hour the dealership confirmed his arrival. Mr. Murray's prices were fair and service was fast and friendly. I have since recommended my son's car and a few friends to have their vehicles towed by Murray's. I hope that i never need his services again but I will happily call again if I do. Thanks Mr. Murray for such great service when I was having a terrible morning.

Provided by YP.comMy car broke down so I found their number on google. Called and the person on the other line was very rude. I'm already frustrated that my car broke down, and it would have been nice if they were a little bit considerate of my situation. When he asked where I wanted the tow truck to bring my car, I told him to give me a sec so I can ask my spouse, and the man hung up on me when I got back to him seconds later. I opted for a different towing service that was farther. Murray's doesn't even deserve my one star.
The remark in reference was posted by jadorejaime on 06/04/2010. I am aware of the call details after discussing with the operator. The operator asked the lady "where would you like to have your car towed?" She asked for a reference and the operator responded " I will not recommend a repair shop because if I do and you are not satisfied with your repair I hold partial liability. Usually people have the vehicle towed to the dealership they purchased the vehicle from." It may have seemed "rude" to the customer that they need to have a location to tow the vehicle to because the tow company is not liable for what happens to your vehicle after the repair shop receives the vehicle. She pursued discussing the matter with her spouse and after a few moments of absence from the line the call was dropped from the network. The operator attempted to return the call and no answer.
