I recently bought a used goped sport off of CL. It didn't seem like it had any pep and bogged out while cruising then hitting the throttle. I don't know much about the mechanics and the only place to take it was MXM, which was at least 25mi (50 round trip) away from where I live. I got to the shop late and Sam wasn't there, but I left it anyways, no sense of making a 2nd trip for a tune-up. Sam left me a voice mail the next day telling me what was the problem and what he did. I went the following day and was expecting to pay $20-30 that was quoted to me by an employee. Sam was helping another customer and was telling us a little about the history of gopeds in Cali, laws and stories. You can tell he knows his stuff and had a passion for it even though he said that electric gopeds/bikes will be the next big thing. I handed him my receipt and he brought my goped out, explained what he did and he said everything was good to go. I didn't need to replace anything and was NOT CHARGE for the work done. I didn't test it at his shop because I was press for time, so once I got home I hopped on it and it took off like a rocket with out any problems that I was having before. Totally recommend MXM for their quality of service, both in the mechanical side as well customer service.

The owner is not Myron it's Sam and he's a great guy. I came in at 5:00PM with my Electric Bike (Not bought from him) dead.



He trouble shooted it and repaired it, he is the only shop I've found in Southern California that will repair Electric Bikes not bought from him with a smile.



He went the extra 9 yards and did the work the same day, even staying an hour past closing, because I explained to him that I really need the bike to stay in shape.



The bill was very reasonable too. I felt bad when I left because he allowed me to test drive a Electric Bike and it blew my Electric Bike away in terms of performance.



When I buy my next bike you can be sure it'll be from Sam.
