With an emphasis in music theory, I instruct beginners and intermediates in the art of violin performance. My violin training is extensive, and I approach each lesson from the viewpoint of the student. I stress Western music theory above all else because that is the true basis for understanding any type of music. The student will then learn much faster and more efficiently because of their knowledge of technique and theory.
