I was highly impressed with the service performed by the gentleman over at Nevernest. He was well educated and took his time treating for carpenter ants. He also had no problem returning for a follow-up!

I called Nevernest hoping they could help us with a bird problem. We could hear baby birds in our bathroom fan for weeks. Then nothing. One night there was a banging in the duct work. A Bird was screaming. We saw feathers in the exhaust fan. And then there was a smell... When I called I got a really pleasant lady on the phone. She told me the tech would come to my home, remove the nest, any dead/live animals, sanitize, and then put screens on the exhaust. When he showed up, it didn't seem like he wanted to do any work. He confirmed we had a nest. Then he advised we have a HVAC person come and blow out the duct work. Huh? He said if there were baby birds he could come back and cap off the exhaust. If? We asked if he could at least remove the bird in the fan. He reluctantly agreed. My husband then went up into the attic with him. Luckily, they heard a bird tweeting and worked together to get the bird out. He told us the banging we heard was probably the mother trying to get to it. Then he cleaned the fan and capped off the exhaust. He told us we were "golden" , "there were no other birds" and he had "saved" us a bunch of money. I asked him why it still smelled and he didn't really answer the question. So after he left, I went up into my bathroom to check it out. There was bird poop everywhere. He might have cleaned the fan but he dumped the bird poop directly into the bathroom. This weekend we decided to remove the duct work and clean it ourselves. The smell... It turns out the duct was still stuffed with nesting material. We also found 3 dead baby birds. That explains it. I would have gladly paid him to do what the company promised. What we got was: 1 live bird removed (with our help), a "sanitized" fan, trashed bathroom, and three screens. What we did on our own: clean bathroom, remove nesting material, removed dead birds, and cleaned/sanitized duct work. Sorry but I can not recommend.

The company was asked to indicate what could be done to maintain the patency of vents in a townhouse complex. Unfortunately, the company never called to schedule such a visit even though the female telephone contact said they would on 2 occasions. The company was contacted via telephone X2 to check on the patency and integrity of townhouse vents. Birds had been entering the vents and occluding them. The female who answered the telephone stated that the owner would contact me. This contact was never made. This company is very unreliable.
