I loved it! We stayed in a family cabin and it was wonderful! The kids loved it. They thought of everything! You just have to bring your own food and toiletries. It was very clean and spacious. Tucked away in the woods. Would definitely go back.

My husband and I along with our two grandkids (6 and 9) stayed in Beary Cozy cabin this past week. We couldn't have been more pleased with the location or the cabin. We enjoyed being in the mountains where it was quiet. The kids had a great time hiking and looking for deer and other wild animals. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. We will definitely stay here again and plan to pass along the word to our friends how much we enjoyed it. Very nice managers! Thanks.

We stayed in Ruidoso Jan 13-15th 2017 in the Black Bear cabin. It's a huge cabin that is absolutely gorgeous and very clean! I called to make our reservations and the person that answered was very nice and patient with all of my questions and seemed genuinely concerned for our well being since there was a winter storm warning in effect for the area on Saturday and Sunday. The cabin was very big and very clean. It fit us perfect and had a full kitchen. The heater didn't come on when we first arrived but someone came and turned on the pilot for us right away.

We saw snow on Sunday morning of our trip and it was amazing! Since our children have never seen snow before it was perfect because it melted by mid afternoon so we drove back without having to drive in ice or snow. They do say to take precautions when there may be snow on the roads. In the early morning while it was snowing we saw a car going a little too fast and they skidded for a sec before regaining control.
This cabin has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 2 loft areas that have 2 full size beds in each, a full kitchen and two dining tables to eat at. Only one tv in the living room with a huge fire place! Don't forget to buy wood if you do they sell wood in the office. We plan on returning next year or as soon as we can. Such a great cabin!

Wonderful experience for our first trip to Ruidoso! We got a good location at the end of the road, and Two Bears was an awesome cabin for our family of four! John and Glenda were very helpful and polite. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed in Sky Cabin for a three day weekend. This is a lovely two story cabin. While there are other cabins around, we had total privacy. There are decks on two stories, with great views across the canyon.

The decorator could not decide if this was a cowboy cabin, (rope baseboards, cowboy print sofa), ski lodge ( crossed antique ski poles over the door) or a country cabin ( chintz and calico) but the whole thing works. An inside gas fireplace was not needed in June, but looked like it would be cozy. There is also an outdoor fireplace and a gas grill.
The outdoor hot tub for two is screened off for total privacy. The key opens the back door, off the kitchen. We thought a card table upstairs might be a good addition.

There are lots of stairs, and we noted a lack of handrails. Bring backpacks and reusable grocery bags to carry your clothes and supplies. Binoculars would also be great, we saw a bear, many deer and an elk.

Noisy Water Lodge staff was great and everything about the cabin met expectations. Great views, Huge cabin, hot tub, very clean, all the ammenities you need. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights for a ski trip recently, the cabin is not too far from the main strip of Ruidoso so just a 5 minute trip into town. Cabin comes with cable tv and WIFI so you dont miss a beat. Huge front patio that overlooks the mountain with the hot tub on one end provides for a relaxing atmosphere in the evening.

We recently stayed 5 days in Ruidoso @ the Noisy Water Lodge in the Upper Canyon of Ruidoso.
The cabin was very clean and fully supplied with all items in the kitchen and throughout the cabin.
The owners were the friendliest folks and even lent my husband and son a fishing pole and bait to fish on the river.

I had the pleasure of staying at Noisywater Lodge this fall . The rustic setting ,delightful cabin
and friendly atmosphere made for a wonderful getaway from the rat race . Noisywater Lodge is nestled in the upper canyon of Ruidosa and John and Glenda Duncan have done a marvelous job of maintaining this little gem . The area around Ruidosa has alot to offer in unique scenery and history of the 1800's . We had a very pleasant 4 nights ,the cabin was clean ,the kitchen and service second to none . I would definitly recommend Noisywater Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Ruidosa and I will be back.

We decided to stay at Noisy Water Lodge (Canyon Retreat) after looking around for a nice cabin online for quite a while. When I called in to make the reservation, the man was very nice and answered all the questions I had. Upon arriving, both Mr. and Mrs. Duncan were very nice to us and made us feel very welcome. We really didn't have to contact them much during the week, as we didn't have any problems with the cabin. It was clean and very comfortable. We felt as if we were in our very own home away from home. I would like to mention that this is a two story cabin, with a beautiful stairway, but it can be a bit tiring, hahaha, although my 65 year old mother did just fine....other than that, this place was wonderful! If what you are looking for is a place out in the pines with wildlife and beautiful scenery, this is the place!!!! This place even had games and movies and well, we just didn't want to leave. Thanks Noisy Water....once again....I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
