I had a lifter failure on my #7 cylinder on my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado LT (5.3L V8) and I went to several repair shops in Bakersfield and every one of them advised me to REPLACE my engine at a cost from $4,500-$7,000. I was shocked when per their diagnosis I ONLY needed a lifter replaced. I called On Site Fleet services and they completed the repair (I supplied all of the parts including new lifter, VLOM head gasket, oil pressure sensor) for $1,100.00! They are great and trustworthy mechanics!
