Bringing Nature Back to the Community. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those around us - not only by preserving green space, but by making that valuable space accessible to people of all ages. Outdoor Encounter works to put in trails as well as create opportunities for healthy living. We are working to utilize some empty property for a Farmers Market. We have submitted a large grant for a greenways trail. We are exploring another piece of property as a possible trail head, visitors center. If the project increases quality of life for those around as well as respects nature and the natural landscape, OE wants to be apart.
