It is a 5 year lease. We are a small business, first they brought out the wrong machine way more than we needed. Ever hear of a lease that goes up every year? This one does. Then this month I get the overage report. Not only do I pay 183.41, but I am now billed 412.88 for overages. This doesn't even include color. To get out of the lease when it runs out, you have to do it by so many days or it renews automatically. For this month only for 596.29, I could buy a printer. This doesn't make sense.

Is there a rating less than one star? Once the sale is made, they could care less. No customer service whatsoever. They turn you over to their leasing agent and then say "not my problem" whenever anything goes awry. Do not return phone calls and if you catch them in their office, they will do nothing whatsoever to help. Can't say enough bad about them.

After 45 years in business, made a big boo boo leasing from Pacific Automation. If they spent their advertising money on customer service, they would have a great business. Leased our color printer, scanner, fax machine in 2010. At the time we picked out a smaller machine, but when they delivered it was the more expensive one. We should have sent it back, but didn't. We were told the ink was free. Well, color is so expensive, we don't use it, we use our small machine for color copies. What a waste. Then I was set up and have to pay in addition to the monthly fee an overage fee. which this month is an additional $276.00. At the beginning of the 2nd year, the price went up. I called and they said, not so nicely, read your lease. It will go up every year. When I complained that I wanted to cancel our lease, they said our lease will automatically renew if we didn't cancel in writing 60 days before renewal. Don't break down or need their help, they sent a repairman out, but he couldn't fix it and kept saying he was trying to learn how to fix the fax. It still isn't fixed. I can get the faxes, but the other two people that should be able to pick them up, can't anymore.

Our copier that was 2yrs into a 5yr contract had some problems that "couldn't be fixed at our office". They brought out a "loaner" during the repair. Two days later a salesman representing a different manufacture but from Pacific office said he was there to get a signature. I said for what? His response was for your new copier that was installed! I took two weeks, YES TWO WEEKS for them to bring my other machine back. They said my machine was dead and it needed to be replaced! Bait-n-switch practice. When my contract is up, I won't even consider this company. Too bad I have to wait... STAY AWAY they promise the world, but never come through.

Was quoted / sold a new machine 3yrs ago. Quote specifically said 36 month term. Last month the lease was up and I called them to have them come pick it up because we decided to go with a local family company that offered better pricing for the lease and maintenance. WELL...it wasn't a 36 month contract, it was 63 MONTHS!!! Pacific Office told me the only way I could get out of it was to use them again. WHY would I want to??? THEY LIED TO ME! Snakes....what goes around, comes around.

Provided by YP.comWe've leased a high end copier from Pacific Office automation for five years. They did a good job of servicing it. But then we started to negotiate with them about the lease renewal rate 6 months before the end of the lease, they dragged it on and on. When we decided to go with another provider once the lease was over, they told us that the lease was outsourced to another company and we had missed the lease renewal date, so we were stuck with the $500 monthly lease rate for an additional year and it was a contract with another company and they couldn’t do anything about it.
It seemed highly deceptive and their managers did not return our phone calls when we complained. It was a $13,000 machine 5 years ago. Now you can buy it for $800 on ebay and we are stuck paying $500 per month (lease only, service and copies are extra) for an entire year because their sales agent didn't know or didn't tell us about this hidden renewal clause in the fine print of the lease. Don't lease from these folks unless your attorney writes the lease!
