If only I could give 0 stars. Called and spoke with the owner (Tony) on a Friday afternoon and it went great. He seemed extremely knowledgable and had great ideas... Before we hung up he asked me to text him my address and said he would be in touch Monday to set up a time to come out Tuesday or Wednesday to take a look. I did not hear from him Monday so I sent him a text on Tuesday (no response) and called on Wednesday morning. Tony called back Wednesday evening saying he would come out Friday afternoon and could do the job the following week. My husband took off early from work to be there to meet with him... We called and text to confirm appointment (no response) and he never showed up or called on Friday. Because Tony is very convincing and makes false promises on the phone, we proceeded to go through several no shows and no return calls with Tony. After booking with him, waiting for him and then having to book with another contractor it put us 4 weeks behind and disrupted all the other contractors schedules that were scheduled behind him.

After talking to a few other contractors in the pool industry (plumbing, electrical and plaster) I learned that this company is well known for this kind of customer service.
Do not waste your time.

DISHONEST

Pool Diggers Inc. is a DISHONEST Company!!!!I’d like to share my Pool Diggers Inc. experience with you as I hope you take my story into consideration when selecting a contractor to dig your pool. I was in need of some fill dirt, so I posted an ad on Craigslist. I had a gentleman (Frank) contact me who stated he was in the process of having a pool designed and asked if I wanted his dirt as he only lives about 2 miles from me. I told him I would absolutely take the dirt, which he estimated to be about 120+ yards. In talking with Frank, he stated he was having trouble finding a contractor who specializes in digging pools. Ironically enough, my next door neighbor was in the process of having his pool dug by Pool Diggers Inc. I told Frank about Pool Diggers Inc and sent him their contact information. Frank contacted Tony (Owner of Pool Diggers Inc.) and subsequently gave him the job. It was made very clear to Tony from the start that I was the one who referred the job to them and that Frank wanted them to deliver the dirt to me. On the morning of the dig, February 19, 2015, I spoke to both Frank and Tony on the phone to confirm the details regarding the delivery of the dirt. Tony told me it was going to be a two day job and that I could expect to start getting dirt around 9 o’clock that morning. At around 10 o’clock I contacted Frank to see if they had started as I hadn't received a delivery of dirt yet. Frank told me they hit some large boulders so they were delayed, Tony confirmed that on the phone as well. Around 11:00 o’clock I received my first delivery of dirt, two dump truck loads carrying about 10 yards each. I spoke to one of the drivers who stated they were going to work until about 3 o’clock that day, but they were planning on starting early the next day. I confirmed with him that I would be there all day, both days, to receive the dirt and he left to get more dirt, as I understood it. About an hour later, I received another 10 yards of dirt from one of Tony’s dump trucks. I spent the rest of the day awaiting more dirt to be delivered and it never happened. The next morning I was up early ready to receive more dirt. At about 9 o’clock I called Frank to see if Tony had started working yet. Frank told me yeah and asked why I was asking. I explained to Frank that I hadn’t received any dirt since noon the day before. Frank was perplexed and told me he would find out what the deal was and call me back. Frank called me back a few minutes later and I couldn’t believe what he had to say. Frank said that he spoke to one of the dump truck drivers who stated he decided to dump the dirt at a different location. Both Frank and I were not happy about this. Frank said he spoke to Tony and Tony ensured him he would make up for their lack of judgment. I thanked Frank for the 30 yards of dirt I did receive and told him I would take the matter up with Tony.I called Tony immediately after I hung up the phone with Frank and left him a message. Tony called me back about 30 minutes later and apologized for the “mix up”. I expressed my disappointment with Tony as the reason he got this job was from my referral. Tony did not disagree and promised me 100+ yards of dirt the following week as he had another pool he was digging in the area.It has been almost 2 months since Tonys dishonest company shorted me of that dirt and he has done nothing to make it right. I call Tony at least once a week to remind him that he promised me dirt and he continues to make excuses. I am quite certain that Tony never intended to make things right with me, he was merely giving me lip service so Frank wouldn’t be angry w...
