Provided by YP.comWe are overjoyed with the work Prater Concrete did for us! We wanted to have our daughter engagement party in our backyard but it needed major attention. We not only loved the work but Ryan was able to refer us to a company that builds arbors and an electrician that was able to do in ground lights and hanging lights as well. Our neighbors loved the work and will be having Prater Concrete do some work for them this spring.

Provided by YP.comMy wife and I are overjoyed at the look of our new concrete patio. We recently purchased a home in December, and it had an old wooden deck which was rotting out. We originally thought about replacing it with another wooden deck, or perhaps an artificial wood deck. My wife preferred a stone patio "flagstone." Then we heard about patterned concrete. It had the look of stone, but the durability of a concrete patio. After looking at Ryan Prater's portfolio and having a sit down we chose the "Arizona Flagstone". The finished product exceeded our expectations. It has a beautiful hill country look, the irregular shapes are unique yet attractive and we can't wait to put in landscaping which compliments the new patio.

Provided by YP.comRyan walked us through his thought process in replacing an existing patio that was cracked and flaking. We had 2 other patio's that we needed his help with as well with one being an overlay of existing slab and the other a complete new concrete pour.
His crew showed up on a Saturday morning and removed the existing concrete patio, prepared two other patio's for concrete as well. Ryan was with his crew the entire time and the job was done with minimal damage to the yard and grass. The job was completed in 3 days and my wife and I are very happy with the end results on all 3 patio's done by Prater Concrete. I strongly recommend giving Prater Concrete an opportunity to show you what they can do for you as well.

Provided by YP.comRyan Prater removed an existing sidewalk and patio for us, then put in new ones. Ryan did everything he said when he gave us a bid. He was on the job with his men every day and he worked along side of them. We had Ryan install stamped concrete that looks like slate, and the work is excellent. He worked closely with us to get the colors we wanted. He listened to what we asked. The quality of Ryan's work is outstanding. We are extremely pleased that we called Prater Concrete and accepted Ryan's bid.

Provided by YP.comMy wife and I bought a house in Plano last December. We had many problems with the new house. A front sidewalk which needed replacement. The living room is sunken down 6 inches and needed to be filled in because of water leaks. The dining room needed to be pushed out 4 feet. Also we needed more room for another living space, the house is U shaped with an interior patio whose design was useless for our needs. We needed a new patio added the the rear of the "old" interior patio.
Ryan Prater, owner, spent a couple of hours with us and patiently explained his company and services. He showed us examples of work his company has recently completed. I was impressed with the work he showed us. After a complete walk thru of the project, Ryan showed us his ideas for our project.
The front sidewalk was to be stamped with a red brick border and grey fan design in the center
The living room was to be filled in the same height as the foundation with concrete and stained a two tone brown.
The dining room addition was to be filled in to the height of the house foundation.
The interior patio area was to have three piers dug, the entire area set with rebar filled in to grade with concrete and stained light brown, also 2 french drains were installed to drain rainwater until the new roof is installed to convert this space into new living area.
The new patio was to be 12 X 15 and mimic the look of the front side walk.
When I called Prater Concrete for an estimate we thought that we would have to do this project in steps but after talking to Ryan Prater we decided to do the entire project in ONE step. The entire project took one week, and we had our house back in record time.
Neighbors walk by just to see the sidewalk, come to our front door with questions, and when we show them the rest of our updates they are amazed by the quality of workmanship. We would highly recommend PRATER CONCRETE to anyone that asks.
