The estate sale company coordinated with Robert (owner) to move a piano. They were an hour late, and he sent 3 young guys. PMS did not ask any questions about delivery, it was all done via texts. There are 11 wide steps because the house is on stilts. The 3 young guys could not lift the piano. The dolly they were using had 4 positions to lift it. Two kids on one side and one on the other. The one obviously wasn't strong enough to lift half of a 400-500 pound piano by himself. He should have known he needed to send 4 guys. They gave me the option to set it up in my garage or take it back to the empty house where the estate sale was and leave it outside in the rain on the porch! I called Robert and of course he was nasty. He told me "You don't want to mess with me!" I now have a baby grand piano in a humid, unconditioned garage and need to hire another mover. In addition, they cracked the wood above the keys on a 1942 baby grand.

On time, worked very fast. Fair pricing. No damage. Good, friendly attitude. Couldnt be better.

I meant to write a review before now, but we used this compnay to move our household items from a storage unit to our home. They did an excellent job, both loading the rental truck and bringing the items to the house. The price was very reasonable and we are going to use them again to move our items from a house in Mary Esther to a storage unit in Panama City.

Just a short note to say that the two men (sorry, but I forgot their names, however one had been with the company 10 years and the other for 8) Robert sent to move my furniture on 27 Apr 11 were wonderful. They were very careful about everything (even moving fragile things) and nothing was broken or scratched. Thanks guys!

PMS Move it(!) is the best moving company I've ever used! I'm a repeat customer due to their fast, friendly, and careful loaders since my "divorce move" from Pensacola to Destin over 10 years ago. I carefully packed my own boxes and none of my furniture or any other items were damaged at all!In '06 I mistakenly hired Professional Moving & Storage to help me both pack and move from Santa Rosa Beach back to Destin-talk about "walking the job"!!! This other company charged more per hour which was presumably due to the added packing. And it became obvious that they worked slowly in order to bill me for additional hours of labor! (Who would ever pack books from a large bookshelf by taking them one at a time to an open box across the room?!?!) My advice is to make sure you've called THIS PMS, because, as is written on their trucks; "attitude is everything"!

I had one good and one not so good experience with this company. With a local move I was very pleased; with their loading service for a long distance move, I was not so pleased because I had several pieces of furniture damaged. I give them high marks for being courteous & prompt, and both times the workers worked very diligently. With the local move I had some glass broken and the company did fix it. However, they blamed the damage I had with the second move on my not providing enough pads. I did only rent a minimal number of pads but also provided blankets and other cloth covers and the company that unloaded the truck at my destination stated that the padding provided should have been adequate if it had been better utilized to prevent the damage sustained. Since I drove the truck myself after it was loaded, I was not reimbursed for any of the damage. Overall, I would recommend this company, but with some caution to be sure to provide ample padding to prevent furniture damage.
