We recently moved into a house with the Pure Water of California system installed under the sink. Looking at the service labels to mark the actual dates the unit was serviced, they used the company for quite some time. The biggest issue is that for some strange reason, they moved the waste drain from the proper position before the trap, to the area after the trap. At least they capped the old saddle fitting. The other issue is that 2 of the 3 'bumps' under the storage tank that create the flat area to stand the unit were severely corroded. A courtesy swap for old tanks should be included (although unsure if this unit was under a lifetime service warranty or not.) There was even several dozen wraps of plumber's tape on both ends of the final stage filter. It was so thick that it created a soft pliable mass on both ends. And when I removed the fittings, there was hardly any on the threads. The new system I purchased did not have that nonsense.

On top of all of this, the e-mail they have listed on their website is non-existent and returned as an error. (customerservice wasn't found at purewaterofca.com.) Not into talking to anyone to get my address removed from your system.
