Don't use R & S if you want a good repair done quickly.

I asked Ronnie (R & S) to check out a vehile he had previously worked on over the years, to see if it was worth buying for $500.00. He told me it needs front brake pads (lifetime warranted) and a new transmission. He told me it would cost: Trans $350; Brakes $40; Labor $175; trans fluid $ 20; Total $585.00. The bill also shows 90 warr. on trans. He told me I had to pay up front because he was getting the transmission from a junk yard and they require cash. I paid him on August 19, 2008. He told me the job would take 2 days to complete. On August 22, 2008 I had to rent a car because my car was not ready. I finally got the car back 2 weeks later. I have been adding transmission fluid to it ever since. I have brought the car back 3 TIMES. The most recent time, Ronnie had my car for over A MONTH!! I finally got the car back, December 5, 2008. The transmission still leaks, just as badly as before. Judging by the large drip pattern, it appears nothing was done to repair this.
