Working with Remington in Clovis, CA was a horrifying experience.



David was the person who booked my move and was very friendly and helpful throughout this process.



It went very downhill from there though. My move was originally scheduled for Sunday and they were to arrive between 8 and 10 AM. I confirmed the move on Saturday and was told I would get a call 30 minutes before they arrived. By 10 AM on Sunday, I hadn’t heard anything so I called to check on the status. I was told that someone would call me. 10:45 I still hadn’t heard anything so I called again. Same response. Finally at 11:30 David called me and told me that they wouldn’t be coming (employees didn’t go into work) and asked to reschedule for Monday or Tuesday. He also offered to bring my rate down $4 an hour (saving me $12 total). I wasted my entire morning waiting for them to show up and had to pay an extra day’s rent.



I rescheduled for Monday at 3 PM because they wouldn’t schedule any later. I’m a teacher, so the fact that I had to leave work early and cancel an after school activity that I am in charge of was a huge inconvenience. I made it home by 3 PM and they didn’t show up until 5:30. This time they did at least call, but again, it was a huge inconvenience for me.



The workers were friendly and efficient, finishing my small load of large furniture in a little over two hours. However, because they were so late, they didn’t leave until 8 PM, causing me another huge inconvenience. I purchased a yelp coupon (paid $45 for $100 to the company) and gave it to the man when I paid and he informed me that because they gave me 5% off, I couldn’t use it. The 5% was about $13.00, so the other was a much better deal. When I asked if I could just waive the 5% off, he told me it was too late.



At this point, I was so exhausted by the entire situation that I just gave up. I have never been exposed to such an unprofessional company. I’m a pretty reasonable person, but to not show up, not call and then not care? It was too much.



I will gladly waste my $45 if I never have to use this company again.

I recently had to shift my home to San Francisco. I tried contacting many moving companies yet I never felt satisfactory with their estimates. Finally I came across Remington Moving & Storage who assured us about safe shifting with affordable and reasonable estimate. Also the guys from Remington Moving & Storage crew were very professional and well trained to handle things. I wish them success and fortune.

I was very satisfied with the job these guys did moving me from a 6th floor walk up in my area to a first floor apartment in the Park. The whole move took less than three hours. They were cheap, fast, and careful, which is just about everything you need in movers.

I have used Remington Moving & Storage for three moves and they not only remembered me and my huge furniture but took great care of us both.

This is the WORST moving company i have ever used. My items were picked up on August 15, 2011 and I requested them to be delivered before the 29th of the month since my husband start his new job that day and he needs his tools to start. I called on the 26th of August to check on the status of this move and was told the delivery time will be delayed due to hurricane Irene.(this statement I later found out was a BIG LIE!). I called 5 more times after the initial call to check when will the items arrive and each time i was told they will check on the status and call me back. NOT ONCE they called me back. Finally I had enough and on September 1st I demanded to speak with someone, then their customer service rep Nicole said "Your items are being shipped out today and will not be there until next Thursday or Friday."

TODAY is FRIDAY, I called again and Nicole the CSR told me "oh your items are in Florida and should be leaving for NC sometime in the near future" WTF!!!!!! How will my husband be made up for all the time he missed work and possibility of loosing the job he just got???!!!!! I am currently still waiting for Nicole to call me back with a arrival time, and I sure hope I get that call back this time since I have NOT gotten return phone calls EVER.

Remington came to my rescue when another moving co stood me up. Two happy, knowledgable and professional movers showed up the next day (a Sunday!) and completed the whole job in 4 hours with only one quick lunch break. They even put my bed together and knew the best places to put the furniture (even when I didn't). Never has moving been such a stress-free experience! Thanks Remington!

Remington was on time, fast, careful with my furniture, patient with my changes once we got to the new house, and accurate with their estimate. I am moving again in one year and will not hesitate to call them. Given the emotional nature of our move (we lived in the same house for 18 years) they made it so much easier. Thank you Remington.

We recently used Remington Movers - they arrived on time, and worked without a break. The team as professional and reliable, and handled our things with care. Highly reccomend!

Recently had a really good experience with Remington- everything was taken care of like it was their own- my breakables were packaged better than when I originally bought them! My things arrived at my new home safe and sound. Everyone was nice and Roz was especially helpful. Highly recomended!

OK, the bad news first. They arrived late. But the good news far outweighs the bad... Careful, competent, hard working movers who didn't waste any time. Furniture was carefully disassembled, wrapped, and reassembled. They worked quickly and were friendly. Roz, who does the scheduling, is wonderful to work with. Note: I received a discount because of the late arrival. I would most definitely recommend them.

I've never used movers before and was VERY skeptical! First off, Roz was really friendly and helpful on the phone. And the two guys who did my move were great. Easy to talk to and incredibly careful with all my stuff. Not a single scratch on anything!

These guys were great movers and Roz was very nice and helpful with scheduling. We moved 6 offices in a short period of time. They were very efficient and did scratch a thing.

After having horrible experience with "Starving Students Moving Company", at the last minute i called Remington Movers. They were not only cheaper but also very professional and understanding. Noah(the person i talked to) was extremely polite, courteous and professional. The movers showed up on time. Since I had already boxed most of my stuff, it did not take them long to move me. From the time they introduced me to the point they had unpacked and had me sign the invoice, it was a flat 3 hours... I highly recommend them to everyone. They not only saved me money but along with me the stress of moving.

Moving has never been so easy as with Remington. They were on time, careful with our belongings and quick! They were so helpful assisting us in setting up our new place. I would recommend them to anyone who simply wants an easy and efficient move!

I can not being to describe what amazing service was provided from Remmington. From dealing with the office to kicking back and watching the movers do all the work. They made moving from one place to another a real breeze. Its no wonder they are so popular, they truly did help me and my family "make the move in the right direction".

Another Satisfied Customer

Finding a moving company in a pinch was stressful (the company we originally hired just didn't show up), but Remington really came through for us. They scheduled us the very next day, and even offered to come earlier than usual (which was preferable for us, anyway).



They moved all of our furniture from a two-bedroom in Hollywood to our new place in West Hollywood in a timely manner. Our guys were extremely personable, professional and easy to work with.



I would definitely recommend Remington.

The movers were very professional. From the start they called us before they started so we knew when to expect them to arrive. They were right on time and did there job perfectly. At first I wanted to move my 42" Sony Bravia TV on my own but they convinced that they would handle it well. It was a perfect experience. The best part were the closet boxes which they got. It made it so easy.
