Provided by YP.comI will never consider using Anderson Windows or Renewal by Anderson because they are major spammers. I receive phone calls, postal mail and /or email from these people every week. They will not take no for an answer and they will not remove my name from their mailing and calling lists

Provided by YPmobileWe had some existing Anderson windows in our house and wanted the new ones to match. At the last minute the sales rep that came to our house changed the color on the order - but come to find out he got it wrong. When we called, they weren't willing to do anything because we had signed the contract with the wrong color. So much for customer satisfaction being their top priority! I would not recommend using them.

Provided by YP.comI have tried since September to pay the last installment of my bill. I am told that Bruce will call me back when the issue with the screens is resolved. I have not received a call back even after repeated calls to him. As much as I appreciate not having to pay a bill, I am aware that in large corporation the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing and at some point I will be slapped with a lien on the property. After today, my next step is the Better Business Bureau. Anderson owes me for all my time they've wasted, and my time doesn't come cheap! (If I were allowed to post NO stars I would.)

Provided by YP.comI just had my swing patio door replaced and love it. It's like a new piece of furniture in my living room! My sales representative was one of the nicest people I've met. I've recommended her to all my friends. Everything was better than I expected it to be, except the wait to get the product installed once I decided to by it. It took about 8 weeks to get my door installed, but the installation went very fast and only took them about 4 hours. The two installers were very professional too and did a great job. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Provided by YP.comI'm so happy I replaced my windows and chose Renewal by Anderson. The windows look amazing and my home looks 50 years newer on the inside. Now, if only I could get the siding done, I'd have a new house. My house was built in 1964 and I'm not kidding when I say it looks like my house was built 5 years ago. The windows completely updated my house and the new trim looks fantastic. Staining the wood was a bit of work, so if you can afford it, get the staining done by either Renewal or a professional...or, just get white windows and only put wood in the dining room and living room areas...I put wood everywhere. One learning experience...get white or the other off-white in the bathroom, I'm nervous about the shower and the moisture that hits this window constantly! I hope the varnish holds up...I may have to revarnish every two or three years. Enough about myself and my home, because Renewal deserves the credit. The sales guy I had was great, I'd recomend Russ to anyone. A bit more expensive (~10%), but I feel it was well worth it! Plus, I'm getting 1500 back for the tax credit thats out there. The installers where great too, even my dog liked them, and he's picky! Thanks Renewal!

Provided by YP.comI must have met this guy or the one trained by him. I was at the home show in Del Mar in 2008. Their sales rep for the Renewal by Anderson bad-mouth vinyl windows. Told me that they give off toxic vapors. Said they were crap and would fall apart within 10 years. When I mentioned the warranty, he told me they wouldn't honor it. This went on for several minutes. I couldn't believe his attitude. I was in the market for windows, and would have filled out a request for an in-home presentation, but I certainly would one him or whoever trained him to pile the bull high. I wonder how good the product is with only a 25-year warranty; vinyl windows have a life-time warranty

Provided by YP.comThe representative that came out to my home was more interested in the football game on tv then my sale. He was very unprofessional cocky and trash talking about every competitor in the market, he stated that vinyl windows were crap over and over again (however used profain language instead of this desciption). At the end of the presentation they quoted us over $16,000 to replace 10 windows. At this point they offer you a sign on the day of the estimate and knocked off $3000, which was still $5000 more than everyone else's quote. So please be prepared for a hard sell they really try to push their product on you and tell you how bad everyone else's product is. They even call their boss to try to have you finance or pay for a few windows to lock in the special rate. In my opinion they raise thier price substantially to then make it look like they are offering you a one time low price (it is all smoke an mirrors people). I do not recommend.
