For the last 16 years, I have been an expert witness and consultant for patent infringement, patent evaluation, and patent applications with a specialty in the area of computer systems, especially computer storage including, but not limited to, memory, disks, RAID, and tape. I have PhD, MS, and BS degrees from Stanford, MIT, and University of California at Berkeley. I worked in the Research Division of IBM for 26 years, and I was a tenured associate professor at Stanford University. Twice, cases where I was the expert witness were listed by the National Law Review in their top 10 cases of the year list.
