The Riverside County Transportation Department is responsible for planning, designing, funding, building, operating and maintaining roads, bridges and transportation facilities. The department s road maintenance division offers highway construction, landscaping, traffic signal, and street light maintenance and road repair services. It also provides inspection, bonding and funding services. In addition, it offers traffic engineering investigation and construction inspection services. The Riverside County Transportation Department employs a team of more than 400 staff members. The department also administers the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program. a part of the Riverside County Transportation & Land Management Agency, which is governed by County of Riverside in California.
