Provided by YP.comWorst service ever. Didn't come with proper tools, didn't know what he was doing. Said the amount paid for the service call would go towards the labor, but changed his mind once he had to come back to replace a part. I do NOT recommend Saucedo's Appliance Service.

Provided by YP.comSaucedo's came and fixed appliance. It lasted 3 days. They would never come back and warranty their work. Twice they no-showed on appointments. Wasted 2 days waiting for them and they did not have courtesy to even call. Check out BBB for several complaints against this company.

Provided by YP.comJohn, of Suacedo Appliance Repair, came to my home on October 8, 2008 to investigate a problem I was having with my Sub Zero refrigerator. Within five minutes he troubleshot the problem as a freon leak in the evaporator. He recommended changing out the evaporator, thermostat, and dryer. His quote was $2,150.00. I told him that I was not in a position to spend that kind of money on an older Sub Zero, and that my wife and I were considering replacing it. He said that would cost $7,000 and that I should invest in this unit as it could last 50 years. I asked him to break down the $2,150 estimate: $650 parts, $1500 labor and disposal of the freon. I then asked him how long it would take: 1.5 hours. He then offered to do the job for $1,650. I told him that I would get back with him at a later time.
That afternoon, I contacted a local Sub Zero repair and parts house. The above three parts for my unit cost under $250 retail. I am not sure, but doubt that Saucedo Appliance Repair would pay as much as I would for the parts.
I called John back on October 13, 2008 to discuss his quote and the quote that I got for the parts. When I asked him what his hourly rate was on repairing Sub Zeros, he said they quote the job and not an hourly rate.
I am really outraged by this person. How many other unsuspecting consumers has he ripped off? Are there any decent, honest repair men that perform quality work for a fair price?
