The Vision: Is to assist all in need of a second chance, ex-offenders, homeless,verterans and anyone at risk, and help them, the communities they serve, to assume accountability. Second Chance eventually become the premiere re-entry progran in the state of Texas. The Mission: To decrease recidivism by promoting social and finanical responsibilty through life skills and job readiness training, thus saving one person, one family and one community at a time, ultimately preventing crime and incarceration. By providing educational and life skills training, the program strives to educate, rehabilitate, increase community safety and maximize men and women's potential and promote a successful transition back into society and job market. Additionally, providing the entire gamut of re-entry needs that encompasses family reunification increases the support system of the men and women while helping the families within communities and decrease the occurrence of recidivism.
