Provided by YP.comDO NOT USE this company. They are overpriced, incompetent and rude.
I recently broke down and with Road side assistance; Silver Star was the vendor of choice. It was explained that due to the size of my truck that road side assistance would pay $120 and I would be obligated to pay the remainder, $140. Yep! $260 for a 9 mile tow for a F350. I would pay it, just get me off the side of the road (287 and Rosedale). The first driver arrived 45 minutes after dispatched. He was nice, but came with bad news. Dispatch sent the wrong truck so another one was ordered. After another 45 minute wait, the 2nd drive arrived. He did not greet me, and began to hook my truck up. He seemed to have issue with it as he was fumbling around with the equipment. At one time he was going to pull onto the flatbed with the winch attached to my steering stabilizer. When I questioned him, I was greeted with attitude and a monolog of how long he has been doing this. I was then told that he would not be responsible for any damage done to my vehicle while he loaded it. In other words, if he didn’t hook it up right and pulled the steering linkage out, that would have been my fault (this is what he told me). I was also told that I must sign a release of liability releasing them from an claim of damage if occurred.
As you guess, I called another company Texas Towing (817-877-0206) who arrived in 20 minutes, loaded and delivered my truck safely and charged an expected rate of $160 total.
