I called several places over this weekend to get quotes for new rear brakes and rotors. Skip's promised a lower price than quoted elsewhere and had plenty of appointments available. I dropped it off with Dean, who said they'd do a whole brake diagnostic check to make sure I really needed full brakes and rotors, and "if we can save you a dollar, we will." Turned out I was right, and I needed brakes and rotors. I dropped my car off at 10am, and by noon had gotten a call that my car was ready. The cost was exactly as quoted. I really appreciated that Dean talked to me, instead of to my boyfriend (like several other places have done). Added bonus: He didn't laugh at me for wearing my brakes down to nothing. I found this place professional, clean, polite, efficient, and honest. We'll be back, for sure.
