Smartlab gave windows hard drive data recovery service free of cost. SmartLab's data recovery program can recover data from a drive with any of the following connections (IDE, EIDE), Serial ATA (SATA), SCSI, SAS, and Fibre Channel. They fixed logical failures as well a physical. I am highly impressed the work of Smartlab staff.

I brought my laptoptop to Whizkids AKA SmartLab off of Halsey. I had a virus and was paying to get it removed. After paying for this "service" I brought my computer home, only to find out that I stil had a virus!!! I called, and one of the employees walked me through the steps on how to remove the virus over the phone. Just a little bit after that phone call, my computer died. I brought it back to Whizkids, aka Smart Lab. I received a non sympathetic voicemail stating that my computer is "toast." He suggested that they send it to a sister company in CA for repairs for an additional fee. Not trusting them at ths point, I brought my computer to another shop on 82nd street. They did a free quick inspection, and immediately, realized that all it was was a bad adapter; a fix much cheaper than sending it to CA!! ohh, and in addition, I was informed and it was written on the receipt I had signed to get the virus removed that they would install a virus remover on my computer, well they didn't do that either.

Smartlab was great. They were here when I needed them and answered all my questions in laymans terms.

I was very impressed with SmartLabs! They are very knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anybody needing help with their laptop or desktop computer!

When needing computer help, Whizkids is great! Steve Maier has helped me so much! I would recommend Steve to anyone needing computer assistance!
