Took my 30-year old receiver into them for service. I was told that "we quote 3 weeks and usually deliver in 2", but when I called at the end of 3 weeks to see what was going on, I got a call back saying that it would take another $150 and another 4 weeks! I asked why and got a little blown off until I got insistent, then they indicated that it would just take that long to install the new parts and thoroughly test it out. I felt I had no choice but to give the OK. Two days later they called and said it was ready to be picked up!!!! I went in and asked about the conflicting time claims, and was told "Uh, that wasn't me..." The good news is that the receiver sounded much better and worked like new. But I spent about 5x more servicing it than I could ever sell it for.
