Provided by YP.comMy beautiful daughter went here and it was a decent, but very expensive rehab. We paid 12,000 dollars to have her in this rehab center. It was a 30 day live in program. During the program I did not hear her mention the licensed staff that was qualified to give her antidepressants, or other meds to help with her dual diagnosis. They are a full on alternative medicine facility no matter how they say it in the intake meeting. While they relied upon acupuncture, I did not hear her start her "new life" with meditation, yoga or any number of other alternative practices for her to get hooked into rather than later reverting back to old behaviors. Too bad. 30 days is not enough time to full engulf someone to know how to reinvent themselves and consequently they will hit a hard road after a while in daily life without the skills to keep them clean.
It took her pretty much 3 weeks to "get it" and they cut her lose a week later. We just didn't have any more money to put in. The disappointing part of this is that they offered no aftercare, she could not attend the meetings with those that had attended other than public AA and NA meetings nearby. They didn't even give her a phone call frankly and pretty much took the money and ran. She was clean for 3 months nevertheless and I was thrilled. She was becoming a beautiful woman that I had known her to be.
The lack of aftercare however, left her without any support system other than the junkie she met in there that stayed a junkie, and wallah, a few months later she switched her addiction and now she's a heroin addict. The moral of this story is, that if a program doesn't offer a support, family or aftercare system what good is it.
For 12 grand you'd think that they could afford to let her sit in on continued meetings a couple times a week for 30 minutes or so, until she was able to get fully on her feet with her new life or even a few phone calls. Maybe even a followup meeting or two. Very Disappointing.

Provided by YP.comI have been to about 25-30 rehabs and detoxes. I am from Allentown, and I've been everywhere for rehab. From Hawaii to Florida, Philadelphia. But Southcoast Recovery in California was by far the best of them all. Considering I could never stay in rehab for more than 14 days, I was able to stay there for 5 months because I loved it so much. Its not like most rehabs. You live in a house, attend outside meetings, got to the gym 5 days a week. And if you stay longer than 30 days, you get a job, can have a car. Its a really great place. All the counselors, and staff are amazing. I would recommend Southcoast to anyone. I wish I had never come back to PA. I had the greatest time of my life.
