Southside Contractors, Inc. has been in business since 1971. I, Doug Pietig, as owner of the company, have 32 years experience in the concrete industry. I gained experience working in my father's business, Harold J. Pietig & Sons that was formed in 1951. I take pleasure in combining your needs and desires with my years of experience to design a product that's uniquely yours, for your home. Contracting I operate independently and I work with several general contractors or I will work with a contractor of your choice. As a contractor, I can arrange for landscaping, railings, bricks, etc., whatever will work with your plan. Areas of Concrete Work Restoring and replacing concrete is the major aspect of our business. Our specialties are: patios, driveways, sidewalks, steps, block walls, foundations, and garage slabs. Incorporated into these specialties are stone, brick pavers, stamped and colored concrete. Any combination can be used to meet your specifications.

Sidewalks all around my home were reconfigured to improve drainage next to the house and replaced. An old pre-formed set of steps was removed and new steps were installed along with 2 decorate tiers on each side. The driveway was replaced as well. Also, a large quantity of landscape rocks were removed from the front of my house and along a long stretch of fence in the backyard. Member Comments: Southside Concrete did an excellent job replacing old, sunken sidewalks, crumbling front steps and deteriorating driveway at my home. Someone was sent out the day after I requested an estimate. They were very thorough in presenting options and explaining how the work would be done. Per my request they added decorative tiers to the sides of the new steps and did a good job refiguring the number of steps to my front door. They also agreed to remove a large quantity of landscape rock as part of the job which I greatly appreciated. The results are great. The new walks, steps and driveway are very attractive and of good quality. I appreciate the prompt, thorough service and responsiveness. I highly recommend Southside Concrete.
