When did flying on schedule become obsolete at Southwest?



I flew two round trips in June and July and three of the four departures were delayed. One was so delayed I was given a voucher. Now my brother is coming to see me and he is delayed for two hours



Is there something wrong at Milwaukee and Baltimore airports that on time departures can't happen with any consistency?

I was told that your policy is open seating. My husband & I were recently on a Southwest flight & were seated when the attendent came by & informed my husband that he would have to change his seat because there were 2 people that wanted to sit together, The statement was made "they are a couple & want to sit together". My husband gave up an isle seat & was very uncomfortable for the trip. Also I was not able to sit with him. We are most disappointed with the service received on this flight. Choose SWA

I will choose Southwest over any other airline, every chance I get. Southwest has always treated me with respect, dignity and effeciency. Yes, occaisionally, they, like every other airline, will need to delay a flight, but that is expected when you have to depend on weather, mechanical issues, or staffing issues. (Flight was delayed to enable a new crew to arrive because the current crew ran out of flying time).



Southwest - you have my vote AND my business!

very poor phone contact system

I have been trying to get in touch witha customer service representative for an entire day. When you call the 800 # then put in your Rapid rewards # you end up getting transfered and told how long it will be until a customer rep picks up your call. You then get transfered into cybespace and ultimately disconnected! It has happened over a dozen times to me in one day! Totally unacceptable customer service. You should be ashamed of your system!

WORST AIRLINE EVER

I went to Vegas for my birthday and every time I fly other airlines everyone is happy, excited, and hootin and hollering when we land. So my friends and I had a 7 am flight and they flew in over 3,000 miles away for this. DEBRAH walked on the flight and said the flight attendants didn't feel comfortable serving us because we were rowdy (code for talking loudly and laughing) so I said no problem we'll quiet down I just haven't seen these girls in years we're excited. She said NO, you have two options get up and walk off the plane or be escorted off. I was shocked! She said you'll have to wait for another flight. I have a dog sitter waiting on me, this cost me much more than time and money. I will never fly another Southwest flight again for as long as I live and I will make sure to tell everyone this story. We were never given a warning or a chance. The pilot even said let them stay I like them! The flight attendant and Debrah said NO! Absolutely ridiculous!

Let's Just Get there on Time!

This past week I flew SWA to New Orleans, LA. What I thought would be quick flights turned out to be long waits. I knew there might be problems considering that I had connecting flights in Houston, TX but I never imagined that just about each and every flight would be an hour to two late. The only flight that departed and left on time was my returning flight from Houston, TX back to San Antonio, TX.



I love that with SWA your bags fly free and that they are one of the most reasonable airline out there the delays really put a damper on your vacation. No one really wants to spend alot of time in the aiport.
